It is essentially impossible to reduce the consumption of dissolved hydrogen in the reaction system, as conditions such as system pressure and temperature remain relatively constant. If the overall hydrogen consumption of the plant is taken into account, the low-pressure level can be appropriately reduced and the volume of low-pressure gas increased; this will help to decrease the hydrogen content in the dry gas from the stripping tower.
