The feed pump for the scrubber tower is the high-pressure ash water pump; the type of inlet filter used can be T-shaped or of another design, depending on the piping layout. The key element is the filter element itself – I use ones with a mesh size of 10 to 20, which meets the requirements of the equipment and the processing process. Using filter elements with a smaller mesh size makes clogging more likely. Furthermore, for high-pressure ash water pumps, the material of the mouth ring is extremely important; wear resistance and a certain level of hardness need to be taken into account.
