At the same conveying capacity, the power consumption of a chain plate conveyor is relatively low. It has high conveying efficiency; the material flows as a whole within the troughs of the chain conveyor, which allows a large amount of material to be conveyed even with smaller trough spaces. The equipment’s dimensions are also smaller, resulting in lower energy consumption. This conveyor relies on the friction between the materials for transport, with no frictional movement between the conveying chain and the casing. Under the same conveying volume and longer conveying distance, its power consumption is about 40% lower than that of a screw conveyor. Chain plate conveyors can meet the requirements for single-row transportation in equipment such as beverage labeling, filling, and cleaning. They can also convert a single row into multiple rows while moving at a slower speed, thereby creating a storage capacity that meets the high-volume feeding needs of sterilization machines, bottle storage stations, and bottle cooling machines. We can arrange the ends of two chain plate conveyors to overlap, forming a combined chain that keeps the bottles (jars) in a state of continuous movement, preventing any accumulation of bottles on the conveyor line. This setup allows for pressureless as well as pressurized transportation of empty and filled bottles. The rollers on the conveyor chain roll on the guide rails, with no friction between the conveyor chain and the casing. The chain is made from alloy steel through heat treatment, has a normal service life of around 3 years, and features a low failure rate during operation. Apart from the end bearings, there are no lubrication points in the conveyor.
