Distance from the tube bundle to the shell side in fixed-tube-sheet and floating-head heat exchangers

Are there any requirements regarding the distance of the tube bundle in fixed-tube-sheet and floating-head heat exchangers from the shell side?
1. First of all, the diameter of the floating tube sheet is about 2 mm smaller than the inner diameter of the shell. 2. The arrangement of the tubes on the floating head should also be at least 5 mm away from the outer edge; you can apply the same logic in similar cases. :)
In that case, it would be 7 mm. I think this distance is a bit too small; the standards specify that this distance should not be less than 10 mm. This requirement applies when calculating heat exchangers, and I’ve seen some heat exchangers with distances of over 20 mm, even over 30 mm. I just want to know what this distance is for different types of heat exchangers
