What is the difference between starting a compressor under pressure and starting it without pressure?
I understand that starting under pressure results in a high starting current
All the hydrogen compressors in our facility start without pressure! It can extend lifespan! Protect the equipment!
It involves high load under pressure and high current, which poses a serious threat to the motor.
If startup is carried out without pressure, will the gas supplied after the unit starts cause surging in the unit due to insufficient flow rate?
Before startup, the anti-surge valves are all open, which prevents surge.
