What should be the temperature control for the return of slurry to the tower? Is it true that the lower the temperature, the better?
If it is too low, the light components will be forced into the slurry system, affecting the plant’s yield.
The reboiler temperature should not be too low, otherwise the oil slurry will become too light and the distillation tower will lack sufficient heat.
Around 240 I guess; if it’s too low, it will affect vapor phase equilibrium as well as the liquid level in the tower
