On the skirt support structure of vertical vessels

If the ratio of the cylinder length L to the nominal diameter DN of a vertical pressure vessel is greater than 5, neither JB/T4712.2-2007 \"Leg-type supports\" nor JB/T4712.4-2007 \"Support-type supports\" is suitable; instead, skirt-type supports should be used. In this case, calculation can be carried out with reference to NB/T 47041-2014 \"Tower-Type Containers\". So, should NB/T47041-2014 be specified as the reference standard in the design data table for the general layout? Are there any other more suitable design methods?
Equipment design is categorized based on its structure, not on its purpose. Once the structural dimensions meet the requirements of a certain standard, it is necessary to use that standard. To give an inappropriate example: for a certain tower (that is neither of the plate-type nor packed-type), in order to reduce the axial compressive stress at the bottom of the tower and decrease the thickness of its lower portion, it might be reclassified as an XXX tank and treated as a regular vertical container – but this is obviously not possible
