Our company has an isooctane production facility. Since it’s a new facility, there hasn’t been much in-depth research done on it. I would like to ask about the control parameters for n-butane and isobutane; any guidance on the operating methods as well as the factors that influence each other would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
n-Butane is a substance that serves no purpose in the entire apparatus; the less of it there is, the better, whether as a raw material or within the apparatus. In the feedstock, it is desirable to maintain a ratio of isobutane to olefins of 1.1 to 1.2, with a circulating isobutane concentration of around 75%-78%
