Amine solution foaming treatment

After adding an antifoaming agent to the amine solution that we have used for foaming, why did the temperature of the feed tray drop from 113°C to 102°C? Moreover, the pressure difference across the tower remained stable, but why was this pressure difference 1–2 kPa higher than before?
