There is often a lot of water accumulation on the floor of our maleic anhydride granulation workshop; will this affect the granulation process? How to solve it? The ground was covered with iron sheets, which became uneven over time, leading to water accumulation.
Why is there water accumulation? Do you clean the granulator in every shift at your workshop? Iron sheet? Stainless steel plate bar! Acids are highly corrosive; even the concrete foundations of maleic anhydride storage tanks can be corroded by them.
The pipelines and equipment are cleaned every time they are stopped. Previously, when the equipment broke down, it was sent back to the factory for repair; the manufacturer advised against using water for cleaning going forward, suggesting instead that steam be used for cleaning. The floor is covered with stainless steel plates; the design wasn’t proper – the trim along the walls is too low, allowing acid to seep under it and into the floor, which is what causes the uneven surface
