The temperature at the top of the column fluctuates greatly—it rises and then falls, only to rise again; it takes two hours for it to stabilize. Additionally, why do the pointers on the instruments along the product discharge pipeline keep fluctuating?

It depends on the specific conditions of your device; first, find the source of the sound!
1. Pay attention to checking the pressure control circuit for non-condensable gas. When the pressure is high, the temperature rises. Temperature changes with pressure! 2. Thoroughly examine all aspects that affect the pressure at the top of the tower.
This would likely require analysis taking into account the output of the distillation tower, the circulation volume of the cooling medium in the top condenser, and the heat exchange efficiency of the condenser; just these two sentences alone may not be sufficient for an accurate analysis
Check the exhaust gas from the shell side of the condenser.
There are probably many aspects that need to be verified. Are the cooling water return flow rate and temperature normal? The temperature and flow rate of the liquid phase in the tower, the pressure and temperature of the gas feed, the temperature and pressure of the reboiler, whether the conditions downstream of the gas phase in the distillation tower are stable, and whether the liquid phase is being withdrawn properly. . . . . The operation of the tower also has an impact; factors such as the amount of azeotrope added and whether pressure control is automatic or manual need to be adjusted gradually
