At present, the salt consumption figures are probably estimates only, as it’s difficult to measure the amount of raw salt used. Please share your units’ methods for measuring raw salt.
Our unit uses a forklift to transfer salt from the salt storage area to the salt dissolving tank; after weighing the amount in each bucket, we count the number of salt trucks.
Raw salt can be measured using a belt scale, which enables automatic feeding as well as accurate measurement. The method on the 2nd floor is also feasible and reliable.
