Are there such requirements for instrument cables in explosion-proof areas?

Must the instrument cables in the tank farm be armored cables? Some experts came to inspect and said that our cables are unarmored and need to be replaced. It’s not mandatory to do so, but it is required that each cable be run in its own conduit; even within cable trays, each cable must be separated by conduits. I’m just an ordinary instrument maintenance worker – I’m not sure if there are any regulations regarding this Thank you all!
Instrument cables are all low-voltage cables with shielding; it doesn’t seem there’s any requirement for them to be armored
I’m not sure; if that’s really the case, then the workload would be enormous
Where did these experts come from? Do the cables in the bridge frame need to be armored? ? ? Armoring is required for direct burial; what does it have to do with the tank area?
Please have the experts present the relevant standards for everyone to study*.
I have worked on various instrument projects for LNG irrigation areas, but I have never done this before.
The standards do not specify such a requirement; only directly buried cables need to be armored. One can’t always follow what experts say.
