Precautions during shutdown: For high-temperature equipment, reactors, oil transfer lines in the furnace area, and high-temperature heat exchangers, apply lubricant to the high-temperature flanges, bolts, and gland oils once the temperature drops to 250°C. May I ask why this is? What’s the use! ?
I just want to ask why oil is poured in after the temperature drops to 250°C? Lubricated?
Prevent the nuts from being difficult to remove due to cold-shortening of the bolts
At high temperatures, lubricant can easily penetrate into rusted areas; it is easier to clean loose bolts, and these bolts can be removed more readily during maintenance
