I’ve come across a multi-stage high-pressure pump with the model number SCSG45-80-11; it was manufactured by Dalian Deep Blue Pump Industry. The pump’s specifications are as follows: power – 200 KW; rated flow rate – 36.2 cubic meters per hour; head – 940 meters. The pump is still in use at the production site. I would like to ask everyone: what is the diameter of the shaft of this pump? What is the axis length? I want to make another set of diaphragm couplings for him. I asked the manufacturer, and their sales representative said it’s a company trade secret and they can’t disclose it ； I’m only told that the original diaphragm coupling model is: Coupling M260.50*100.250.85*160. I already know that the motor in use has a shaft diameter of 85 millimeters and a shaft length of 170 millimeters. With this information, can it be determined that the shaft of the high-pressure pump is 50 millimeters in diameter and 100 millimeters in length? Thank you all; please give me some advice.

Why isn’t the tolerance of the shaft specified? If the shafts on site are worn or not standard, wouldn’t that be a problem?
In the case of diaphragm couplings, the model of the coupling is usually indicated on it. You can check whether there are any relevant markings on the coupling, and then look up the standard to determine the required information.
