In the equipment reliability management of process pipelines, which aspect do you think is more important? Everyone, come and vote – those who provide reasons will receive an extra reward from the moderator
The first three and the last one are all very important steps, and you actually want me to choose only three:@
Reasonable design, high-quality procurement, strict construction, comprehensive maintenance
The first three are quite important; to solve problems, one must address them at their root – design and procurement, quality, and construction are what truly matter. Operation and maintenance – that is something whose technical level can be changed
1.2.6: The first two points are fundamental, while the last one relates to the operation and maintenance of production.
You can choose up to three, so let’s go with 1/2/3.
The most important aspects are: the design phase, material procurement, and construction installation. Determining the material type and construction requirements through design is the foundation ; Material procurement is crucial; without purchasing materials as intended in the design, it is difficult to ensure quality ; Construction is the implementation; if the quality is poor, all previous work is in vain.

I am the first to choose during the operation phase; the design phase is important, but testing during the operation phase is equally crucial. In China, the properties of crude oil can vary greatly, and it’s impossible to address all issues during the design phase – this step is therefore essential. ——In equipment reliability management, the most important aspect is management during the operation phase. The other options are similar to relying on design validation to entrust one’s life and death to others ; Dependent on procurement? There shouldn’t be any problems with procurement itself (although we have encountered some issues as well) ; It relies entirely on inspections during maintenance; this is a post-event summary.
In equipment reliability management, the design phase is crucial
Clicking on “Reply” doesn’t work. I agree with the issues related to the materials chosen during the design phase, but I’m worried about any changes in the raw materials used, including those tricks that oil fields might play, whether you’re aware of them or not. That’s why testing during operation is more important. ——Our factory is testing the iron ion content in the outlet medium of certain relevant components……

My experience at the factory tells me that the latter two are more important; management during operation can help identify problems, while maintenance can resolve them. Standards are continuously improved based on actual operations
