Selection of motor bearings

A problem was encountered while replacing the motor bearings. The original bearings used in the motor were of the 6312/Z2 model, while the new bearings from SKF are of the 6312/C3/Z2 model. What’s unclear is that the original bearings did not have any indication of the clearance value; so what exactly is the clearance value? Are it the C3 bearings that are suitable for motors, or are bearings without play the ones appropriate for motors?
The bearings we bought here are the same; they are actually of C3 grade. For this model of bearing, both domestic and imported versions can be used, with the only difference being in quality.
If it’s not standard, it’s usually C0; the gap should be slightly smaller than that of C3
Bearings with C3 clearance for ordinary motors are fine
