How to read a pipe plan? Who has a detailed introduction? ?
By referring to the PID diagram and the equipment layout plan, pay attention to the routing of each pipeline as well as its elevation. In terms of the vertical direction of the pipelines, hollow circles indicate downward movement while solid circles indicate upward movement; it is important to avoid any conflicts between the pipelines. I’m also sharing this to spark further discussion; it’s for reference only :)
1. First, read the general instructions for the drawings to gain a preliminary understanding of the entire project, then look at the legend to prepare for a more in-depth examination of the drawings; 2. The floor plans and system diagrams should be compared with each other to make it easier to understand them. 3. When viewing the drawings, start by looking at the plan view to determine the location of the equipment as well as the planar position and direction of the pipes. 4. By referring to the labels of the equipment and pipelines, locate the corresponding equipment and pipelines on the system diagram, and then the overall structure of the system will become clear. 5. Take a closer look at the equipment model, the diameter of the pipelines, the route of the pipelines, and the elevation of the pipelines, among other things.
