For granular fillers, what valves are recommended that can precisely control the flow rate of the filler and provide good sealing? The filler particles are around 2-4 mm in size; butterfly valves and ball valves tend to trap the material, and the discharge capacity of unloaders is limited. Therefore, I would like to ask for any suitable valve recommendations
There is a type of rotating discharge valve that has the appearance of a ball valve, but one side of it is shaped like a bowl with a hollow interior; it discharges material in ‘bowlfuls’ as it rotates, and the amount of material discharged is determined by the rotation speed and the size of the bowl. The C valve is indeed very useful. For media that tend to crystallize, form scale, or develop scars, it is recommended to use ceramic C valves. For ordinary media, ceramic ball valves are more than sufficient, and ceramics possess natural resistance to wear and erosion.
