Был опубликован список «60 лучших китайских компаний по проектированию» за 2014 год, составленный известными СМИ совместно с американским изданием Engineering News-Record (ENR). Согласно статистике, при неизменном общем числе компаний, вошедших в список, в 2014 году появилось целых 13 новых китайских проектных компаний. Некоторые из известных проектных компаний, которые ранее входили в список, успешно изменили свою деятельность и попали в топ-80 китайских подрядчиков. Согласно списку, общий объем доходов 60 ведущих китайских компаний по проектированию в 2013 году составил 106,08 миллиарда юаней. Это на незначительную величину — 0,8 процентного пункта — больше, чем в предыдущем году, когда общий объем доходов составлял 105,24 миллиарда юаней. Среди них компании China Petrochemical Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., China Electric Power Engineering Consulting Group Corporation и China Chengda Engineering Co., Ltd. заняли первые три места среди 60 ведущих китайских компаний по проектированию, с доходами от деятельности в области проектирования в размере 10,067 миллиарда юаней, 6,624 миллиарда юаней и 6,104 миллиарда юаней соответственно.
