Regarding the transportation of light oils

A few days ago, I saw discussions about gasoline and diesel, and it was mentioned that fluoroplastics can be used to transport light oils. If that’s the case, why are metal pumps still used for transporting light oils today? If it’s not possible, then that aspect won’t work. Process or material? I hope someone knowledgeable can provide an answer
API610 says nothing about plastic pumps – why is that, if it’s possible?
I think it’s okay as well; (pressure, temperature, and sealing flushing for import and export all need to be taken into consideration), but fluoroplastic pumps do not meet the requirements of API610, so they are not listed in 610!
When transporting flammable liquids, should consideration be given to eliminating static electricity? Don’t plastics increase the accumulation of static electricity?
I don’t know much about this; I’m waiting for someone more knowledgeable to answer
