Which high-speed pump? Sundyne’s high-speed pumps come with pre-installed mechanical seals, so no adjustment is required
For Stäubli or Hitachi pumps, although the mechanical seal is pre-assembled, it isn’t impossible to adjust it~~~~ Especially after replacing some components of the low-speed shaft or after installing domestically produced imitation seals~~~~~~~~~~ The parameters of the original seal are roughly: the total thickness of the static ring is 3.5~3.7mm~~~ When the seal comes pre-assembled, its compression degree is 50%; in fact, it’s better to reduce this value a bit~~~~ In the past I asked that it be adjusted to between 1.** and 1.**, which allows the seal to last for 3 years~~~~
