In the same system, four compressors (VW-15/7) are connected in parallel; three of them failed one after another within two days. One of them was of the second type, with the broken part being the connecting rod, while two were of the first type, with the broken part being the piston. Known problems with the compressor system are: 1) removal of the heat exchanger after the second stage, and 2) the exhaust pressure at the second stage being 9 kilograms. Can’t I send photos? Three out of the four compressors experienced the incident of piston rod fracture within two days~~~ It’s most likely a problem with the process system: (OP, did liquid get into the compressor?) )
This cannot be determined; how can we tell? Is it related to high export pressure?
If the pressure exceeds the designed value, problems will definitely occur, and these problems will arise frequently. First, determine whether there is an issue with the material, and then check whether the process parameters are deviating too much from the design specifications.
If multiple units fail at the same time, it’s probably not a problem with the equipment! Find the cause in the process!
Thoroughly check whether the process operating parameters are within the design range.
