For a grade 3 reciprocating compressor, how to set up the control circuits for starting and stopping? Some people say that 3 times 1 is enough, and no other circuits are needed, is that right?
When driving, there should be one cycle per action; when stopping, there should be three cycles before unloading.
Why is it necessary to press 1 once while driving? When parking, it’s 3 times 1; isn’t the voltage drop too high? Don’t we need 1 time for 1, and 1 time for 2?
The functions of the control and adjustment circuit as well as the start-up and shutdown circuits are similar to those of the valves in the previous circuits; the difference is that one is used to control the pressure of a single unit, while the other is used to control the system flow rate. It’s a bit similar to the setup of a system vent and recovery valve.
It should be one for the first time, one or two for the second time, and one for the third time. By adjusting 1 or 2 at a time, the pressure ratios at various levels can be controlled, thereby managing the pressure of each individual unit and ensuring stable operation of the entire system. The three-stage flow control system is essentially used for regulating the outlet flow of the unit. PS: The flow regulation methods for reciprocating compressors generally include return flow to the inlet, variable air volume, and frequency conversion speed control.
Can a single unit be adjusted with 3 cycles of 1? By closing the outlet valve more and gradually opening the return valve, won’t that do it? For our unit, the manufacturer says 3 phases and 1 wire are sufficient. Please mention the disadvantages of setting it to only 3 cycles of 1, including processes such as driving, operation in parallel, and shutdown.
