The inlet and outlet pipelines of the recommissioned regenerative cycle gas compressor (reciprocating type) experience significant vibration (vibration level around 15, at 70% load). What are the solutions?
Install buffer tanks and reinforce pipeline supports
Check whether the gas contains liquid, whether the foundation is loose, whether the pipe clamps are in proper position, whether the pipe connections are loose, and verify whether the pipes are aligned in their free state.
Honeycomb dampers can absorb vibrations. Our cycle hydrogen compressors are not reciprocating; they are centrifugal. However, the compressor in question is a reciprocating compressor, and it experiences significant vibration. Currently, efforts have been made to tighten components and add shims, but this has not resolved the problem. Vibration in reciprocating machines is an inevitable issue, so we approached a company to address this problem. Do you have this situation? At which position on the outlet is the throttle orifice plate installed? What is the circulation volume of your regenerated gas circulation compressor?
At the outlet, there is a pressure stabilization tank, along with 2 regenerative gas circulation compressors; one of them vibrates slightly while the other vibrates more intensely, causing the entire regeneration frame to vibrate as well.
