The diaphragm-type carbon dioxide metering pump is a special hydraulic diaphragm metering pump developed and produced by our company using proprietary technology. It is suitable for the precise delivery of liquid carbon dioxide, as well as various flammable, explosive, contaminable, and toxic liquefied substances such as liquid ammonia, liquid hydrocarbons, liquid chlorine, liquid H2S, liquefied petroleum gas, and liquid hydrogen. It offers advantages such as complete leak-free delivery, high safety levels, ease of operation, and low operating costs; Based on the plunger force, they are classified into models such as PJ1.6M, PJ2.5M, PJ5M, PJ8M, PJ12.5M, PJ25M, and PJ50M. Each of these models can also be combined to form a dual-pump head configuration; operating in parallel allows the flow rate to be doubled, while also reducing pulsations and improving delivery performance. The hydraulic units are available in two types: insulated type for use with liquids that require low temperatures during transportation, and normal-temperature type for other applications.
Key performance parameters: Rated flow rate range: 250 L/H to 16,000 L/H for single pump head; 500 L/H to 32,000 L/H for dual pump heads. Maximum rated pressure: 25 MPa. Flow rate control methods: Various options such as manual, variable frequency, and electric control, to meet various system control requirements. Drive mechanism: Motor-driven. Measurement accuracy: Better than 1%. Key performance features: ★ A flexible diaphragm manufactured using special processes separates the liquid medium to be transported from the hydraulic medium, enabling truly leak-free transportation.
Traditional plunger-type metering pumps, due to the direct contact between the plunger, packing, and the liquefied medium being transported, wear and tear of the plunger assembly can lead to leaks of this liquefied medium. The leaked medium forms dry ice at the back of the plunger, which further accelerates the wear of the plunger assembly and reduces its service life as well as its sealing performance. Plunger-type metering pumps are used to transport the medium; they require a lot of maintenance, offer low safety levels, and have high operating costs.
★The built-in limit member oil interlock mechanism is suitable for positive pressure conditions at the pump inlet, and ensures that the diaphragm’s displacement remains within the allowable deflection range. ★The core component – the low-temperature diaphragm – was developed jointly by our company and a well-known domestic research institution specializing in fluoroplastic materials. It is made from imported DuPont PTFE material using special manufacturing processes, making it suitable for low-temperature environments. It has a long service life; under normal operating conditions, its lifespan can exceed 8,000 hours. ★It uses special check valve assemblies suitable for the transportation of liquid CO2, featuring a smoother flow path and lower head loss. The seal lines of the valves are treated with a spraying hardening process, ensuring wear resistance, durability, and impact resistance. ★The variable eccentric slider-type stroke adjustment mechanism enables linear, stepless adjustment of the flow rate from 0-100% both when the machine is stopped and in operation, replacing traditional N-shaped shafts, bow-shaped cams, and spring cam structures. It features advanced design, high power output, flexible adjustment, secure locking, and accurate indication. The dual pumps are connected in a special manner that eliminates the need for rotary seals; moreover, with the motor mounted vertically, there is no leakage of lubricant at the drive end. ★The use of piston seals instead of packing seals provides automatic elastic compensation for wear, an extremely low friction coefficient, and reduced power consumption. By replacing the vulnerable components with standard ones, the service life can exceed 3 years, thus avoiding frequent replacement of the plunger seals. ★ A configurable YB-type and YM-type diaphragm detection and alarm device is available; this device consists of an alarm source, a pressure sensor, and an alarm unit. A vacuum is created automatically between the two diaphragms during operation, eliminating the need for manual vacuuming, and it ensures that an absolute vacuum exists between the diaphragms at all times. It features reliable operation, high volumetric efficiency, high measurement accuracy, and a long service life for the diaphragms. In case of a diaphragm rupture, display and alarm signals are generated within 2 seconds (through pressure gauge readings, sound, light, and electrical signals), ensuring the safety of operators and the integrity of the system process. ★ The entire machine is easy to operate, has low operating costs, requires little routine maintenance, and its replaceable parts have a long service life. ★ Pump heads made of various materials such as 304, 316, 316L Monel, Hastelloy, 20 alloy, duplex steel, and 904L are available.
