What’s the purpose? Reduce pressure and decrease the load on the equipment? 6 kilograms of steam pressure isn’t that high either; why reduce it to 2 kilograms? Or other reasons? Please give me some advice!
Sometimes, the temperature of the heating medium is reduced to prevent scaling, decomposition, and other issues in the medium being heated.
Just to lower blood pressure? Is it equipped with cooling? For heat-sensitive substances, high-quality steam is generally used as a heating medium after being cooled and depressurized.
It is mainly determined based on the needs of the material being heated; excessive pressure and temperature can cause adverse changes in that material.
Many of the evaporators in wastewater treatment are also under reduced pressure; high temperatures don’t pose any problem.
The temperature drops when the pressure is reduced, right?
To reduce the temperature, a temperature and pressure reduction device is generally required; otherwise, the steam will be superheated after pressure reduction. Since the pressure has decreased, your heat has not been removed, so how can the temperature drop?
When saturated steam at 6 kgf is depressurized to 2 kgf, what is produced is still saturated steam; since there is always condensate in the steam main system that cannot be completely removed, overheating is not possible. Theory is theory, and practice is practice. It can be said with certainty that when steam with a pressure of 6 kgf at 165 degrees is reduced to a pressure of 1–2 kgf, its temperature drops to 120–130 degrees. Taking into account the thermal insulation properties of the equipment, it is generally possible to prevent the material from overheating to 100 degrees
It really won’t overheat? There is a enthalpy difference.
That might be different; overheating occurs after pressure reduction, and we have encountered this issue in actual operations – that’s why we used temperature and pressure reduction devices.
