Discussion on the layout principles of process pipelines

There is a principle regarding the layout of process pipelines, especially concerning hot and cold pipes as well as liquid and gas pipes; all that is known is that in the same pipe tray, hot pipes are placed above while cold pipes are placed below； In the same duct, gas pipes are on top and liquid pipes are below. But do the sailors know which standard requires this? In which terms is it reflected?
