Cooling issues of shielded pumps

Shielded pumps are cooled using circulating water; is it necessary to install a test gauge in the circulating water return pipeline (to check if water is flowing)? It’s in the design; if I want to cancel it, is that possible?
If kept, there will be issues with spare parts; if canceled, there will be problems of blockages going unaddressed.
Make a thin conduit using a needle valve to check whether the circulating water is flowing. Pin valves are relatively common
A pressure gauge is installed on the cooling medium pipeline at the pump inlet for monitoring.
It is also possible to install pressure gauges for the inlet and outlet water; in fact, if inspections are carried out frequently, it isn’t necessary to install them, as the pump’s temperature can provide a clear indication.
