According to Jiangsu Jinmei Hengsheng Chemical, on the morning of April 23, 2021, Jiangsu Jinkong Equipment Xinhengsheng Chemical Co., Ltd. held its first shareholders’ meeting, the first board of directors meeting, and the first supervisory board meeting. At the meeting, discussions were held on the relocation and technical renovation project for the 40·60 urea production facility of Jinmei Hengsheng. The representative of the shareholders of Tianjin Jinxin Chemical Equity Investment Partnership expressed great optimism and a strong willingness to invest in this project. May the signing take place sooner, construction begin sooner, and completion occur sooner. A shareholder representative of Jinneng Holding Equipment Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd. said that the new company should draw on the experience of other companies in the same industry, avoid their shortcomings, work together through division of labor, and accelerate the process of receiving the equipment needed for the 40·60 urea production relocation project as well as conducting relevant research. It is also necessary to speed up the registration procedures. Special attention should be paid to safety and environmental protection, and efforts should be made to establish a reasonable organizational structure, develop practical management and evaluation systems, and define key processes appropriately. On one hand, efforts should be made to implement local support policies; on the other hand, the company’s technical team should collaborate with design firms as soon as possible to identify highly qualified project managers and designers who have the ability to coordinate resources, thereby ensuring proper service delivery. The relocation and technological upgrade project for Jiangsu Jinmei Hengsheng’s 400,000-ton and 600,000-ton urea production facilities utilizes space-based gasification furnaces, Huashuo shift reactors, Dalian University of Technology’s low-temperature methanol washing technology, Zhongtai liquid nitrogen washing technology, Cassali ammonia synthesis process, and Keyang sulfur recovery systems. In the first phase, the facility will have the capacity to produce 400,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 600,000 tons of urea, and 47,800 tons of concentrated sulfuric acid per year. Phase 2 will have an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons of ethylene glycol, with by-products including 150,000 tons of methanol, 6,700 tons of dimethyl carbonate, and 17,600 tons of mixed polyols.
