A provincial regulation from 10 years ago stipulated that for the transfer of materials between containers and for adding bulk materials, compressed air or vacuum should not be used; instead, portable pumps or fixed pumps must be employed for such transfers. However, in practice, compressed air at 5.8 kilograms of pressure was used for this purpose, which led to an explosion. Two questions: 1. Can inert gas be used for pressing? 2. Is there any danger in vacuum material extraction? At present, there are still many projects and on-site tasks.
The fire hazard of the materials also plays a role; for materials of Class A that can even explode, using compressed air and vacuum does pose a significant risk. Those that are flame-retardant, non-flammable, and non-explosive should work
