The electromagnetic flowmeter uses a four-wire/4~20mA configuration; what about the pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, magnetic flap level gauges, double-flange differential pressure level gauges, vortex flowmeters, and pH meters – how many wires do they use?
The wiring for sensors of pressure, temperature, and level may vary, but it is usually two-wire. This means they only require two cables to supply power and transmit signals, unlike the four-wire/4–20 mA system of electromagnetic flowmeters. -
There are both four-wire and two-wire types, with the two-wire type being the most commonly used
