Hello, dear sea friends! We have developed a CuY molecular sieve adsorbent based on the theoretical foundation of π-complexation adsorption mechanism. The supercage structure of Y-type zeolite, along with the π-complex adsorption between Cu+ ions and adsorbed impurities, is utilized to adsorb and remove trace impurities such as “iron carbonyl” (which is generally formed by the reaction between CO in syngas and Fe in the equipment’s process pipelines) and methanol from various organic chemical products that are liquid at room temperature, such as various alcohols, esters, and aldehydes. The adsorbent has a spherical appearance and high compressive strength. At room temperature to 45°C and under a low pressure of 0.3–0.5 MPa, this adsorbent can remove impurities such as trace amounts of \"iron carbonyl\" (below 10 ppm) and \"methanol\" (below 100 ppm) present in various organic chemical products that are liquid at room temperature (such as 2-propyl-1-heptanol and methyl acetate), reducing their concentrations to less than 1 ppm through an adsorption reaction. The adsorbent can be loaded into a conventional “fixed-bed reactor”. The average lifespan is 3 to 6 months. It has a high “adsorption capacity” for impurities such as iron carbonyl and methanol. Based on the physical and chemical properties of various organic chemical products, such as boiling point, flash point, toxicity, hazard level, as well as the types and levels of impurities, we can also provide a comprehensive design for \"adsorption process packages\" along with full technical support throughout the operation of the adsorbents.
