Complete sets of equipment usually come equipped with control cabinets; is it compliant to place them in Class A or Class B workshops? What should be done to comply? We can’t possibly remove the control cabinet, right?
Is it allowed to use a firewall to separate the complete equipment and control cabinets in Class A and Class B workshops, with Class A fire doors installed on the walls?
Class A equipment must meet explosion-proof requirements, use explosion-proof electrical appliances, or have the entire equipment protected by positive pressure ventilation
It seems that regulations don’t allow the installation of control cabinets
It should be installed in an independent control cabinet within the facility in accordance with relevant standards; it is recommended to refer to the petrochemical industry regulations. I can’t remember which chapter it is, but there are requirements regarding safety distances within the facility, as well as requirements related to explosion resistance
