This post was last edited by zxb1990 on 2017-9-15 09:37. It deals with the card configurations for Siemens S7-200, S7-200SMART, S7-300, S7-1200, and S7-1500. For these types of controllers, in addition to the CPU card and I/O cards, what other components are needed? For example: the 200 system does not require a power supply module, while the 1500 model does. I want to know what the standard configuration is for each system? Things like bases, interface modules, connection cables, etc. – some systems use them, while others do not.

It comes into use when one rack is not sufficient to meet the requirements, but there is no need for a new slave rack; in such cases, an additional rack needs to be added, and that’s where the interface module is utilized to connect the main rack to the auxiliary racks
