1. The factory purchased an FLUXUS704 ultrasonic flow meter, which was installed successfully. However, it sometimes shows a positive flow rate and other times a negative flow rate. The direction of the probe is correct – how can this issue be resolved? 2. The probe installation method is reflective installation with a pair of probes. Why is a negative value recommended for the sensor distance when choosing a 2-path length? 3. This manufacturer has never made any effort to improve it. Where is the range setting, and how can it be changed? The instructions don’t show either how to adjust the range
The parameter settings must be correct, and the probe should be aligned so that both Q and S are as large as possible. It is normal for there to be no flow in the medium, or for there to be a slight negative flow under an empty pipe; this is considered zero drift. If that doesn’t work, install the probe relatively.
1. The flow rate is incorrect; first, the fluid does not meet the measurement conditions; II. Incorrect parameter settings ; 2. Two-note reflection: install on the same side, pay attention to the installation direction (there is an arrow indicated); the pipe surface must be made smooth by removing any paint and applying coupling agent ; 3. Set the parameters correctly; the attachment is the 808 manual for reference. Basic parameters, media information, and other parameter settings can be found starting on page P54 ; Check S for signal strength, and Q for signal quality; if the signal is poor, it will show Q= UNDEF ; 4. For any other questions, consult the manufacturer’s technical support staff by phone.
