What effects would arise if big data and artificial intelligence were combined?

Today, I came across an article on the use of big data in gasification on a related forum, and it occurred to me that if the big data related to gasification could be put to use, combined with the currently extremely popular artificial intelligence (AI), then maybe we won’t need to work in the field of gasification anymore in the future.
That also requires human labor, just less of it. Automation is popular nowadays, while intelligence will be the trend in the future!
