What is the difference between variable loading and fixed loading in ZGM medium-speed coal mills? Which expert could please explain this to me?
ZGM must be the medium-speed roller coal mill produced by Beijing Electric Power Equipment Factory. Literally speaking, fixed loading and variable loading refer to a loading force that remains constant on one hand, and one that can change on the other hand. The loading force should be the force applied between the grinding roller and the grinding table. Fixed loading means that this force remains constant; regardless of the mill’s load or the amount of coal fed in, it is always a fixed loading force. Variable loading allows the loading force to be adjusted based on the mill load and the coal feeding amount. According to the promotional materials from Beijing Electric Power Equipment Factory, ZGM models now utilize hydraulic variable loading technology, which allows the loading force on the grinder to be adjusted in accordance with changes in the grinder’s output.
In cases of high load, no spare grinder available, or loading faults in the stabilizing burner at the bottom of the boiler, fixed loading can be used temporarily. Manually adjust the coal feeding amount to a stable value; the loading force is adjusted automatically, with the manual flow control valve being used to ensure that the loading force matches the coal feeding amount. Turning off the power to the proportional relief valve causes it to open fully, functioning as a straight-through valve.
