Install pneumatic (or electric) condensate recovery pump sets at each location where steam is used or in the workshops; a check valve and a sight glass should be installed after these pump sets, so as to pump the condensate from lower levels into the main condensate recovery pipeline located at higher levels. 2. At the end of the main condensate return pipeline, a buffer storage tank for collecting condensate should be installed, and interlock control between the pressure and liquid level of this tank and the condensate output pump should be established. 3. The design and modification basis for the main condensate pipeline of the entire plant and its various branches is: head difference, head difference, head difference! The condensate water, which possesses high potential energy due to the height difference, enters the main return pipeline directly without passing through a condensate recovery pump, and flows spontaneously into the buffer storage tank under slight negative pressure, which facilitates the recovery of the total energy of the condensate water.
