The relevant provisions of GB/T50770-2013 state as follows: 6.1.1 Analog measuring instruments are preferred for safety instrument systems; The relevant explanations are provided in the subsequent text; if a digital instrument does not operate for an extended period of time, issues such as contact sticking and poor contact may occur. Personally, I believe that pressure transmitters are more reliable over the long term
Well, this is a trend. In the past, switch-type meters were used mainly because of their lower cost; now, analog meters account for only a small portion of the total investment, so price is no longer a factor to consider. For operators, it’s definitely more convenient with transmitters.
