It depends on the specific model and interface type of the instrumentation. If that’s not possible, leave a flange in place and use a blind flange with threaded holes on the instrument side. Alternatively, leave an NPT threaded port, either internal or external threads will do, so that the instrument can be connected to a valve assembly with an appropriate interface.
The material selection is determined based on the medium and operating conditions, while the specific dimensions are determined according to factors such as pipeline flow rate, velocity, and requirements for instrumentation. In terms of sealing, NPT threads are preferable; the standard for these threads can be GB-T 12716-2002, 60° sealing pipe threads.
