I would like to ask. For valves made of these four materials, is Stellite added to the internal components by default, or isn’t it included at all? Is it only added upon the customer’s request?
It depends on the customer’s requirements. For low-pressure applications, we generally only require the valve seat to be surfaced with STL
This one only has a cobalt-based surfacing on the sealing surface, that is STL
The valves of F11 and F22 are both made from materials suitable for high temperature and high pressure applications; therefore, the sealing surfaces are generally welded with STL. For F304 and F316L, it depends mainly on the actual operating conditions; for low-pressure applications, a built-in seal can be used. If the switching frequency is high or the pressure is high, STL welding on the seal surface is required
