When providing additional drawings for a company’s pressure pipelines, is it necessary to produce axonometric drawings? There was a previous project with supplementary drawings that didn’t produce axonometric views, but it seemed like there wasn’t any problem with that. Is it mandatory?

This is determined according to the requirements of the local inspection agency. For many projects, a pipeline layout plan + pipeline characteristic table + pipe section list + comprehensive material table are sufficient; axonometric drawings are not necessarily required.

If you don’t provide this single-line diagram, the company will have to draw it itself; asking you to provide the missing diagram means they already spent money on it!
