In the bypass systems for safety valves that consist of one active valve and one standby valve, the diameter of the pipe in some projects is equal to the diameter of the inlet to the safety valve, while in other projects the diameter of the bypass pipe is DN50. What is the difference between these two?
The diameter of the bypass valve shall be no smaller than that of the inlet pipe of the safety valve
