The jacketed ball valve needs to be reselected

Dear experts: I have some questions regarding jacketed valves! There are existing standard jacketed ball valves, with a heat transfer oil jacket for heating; the heating temperature ranges from 220°C to 240°C. These valves are made of 304 material, and their sealing rings are made of polyphenylene. They are typically used as control valves, and the medium handled is a high-melting-point substance containing phenols, with a melting point of 170°C. I would like to select a different type of valve; does anyone know of any suitable valve design that can be used as a shut-off valve? Thank you!
You said earlier that it’s for regular adjustment, but then you said it should be turned off for use – what does that mean? Does it mean it’s used for adjustment when it’s turned on? Can it be shut off completely without any leaks? If that’s the case, then a hard-sealed ball valve is required. However, ball valves provide coarse control; rough adjustment is sufficient, and moreover, the medium must not contain any solid particles.
As a cut-off valve, this is an excellent choice
