Connection method between the hoop or flange and the cylinder body

There are now pipes with a diameter of φ100 that are inserted vertically into pipe collars or flanges with welding connections; aside from the insertion method (which may affect the flow rate of the pipe), how are other connection methods welded and inspected? How about the groove? Are there any standards? I’d like to ask the experts here.

As required by the standards, there are plug-in and saddle-type types. The plug-in type is not meant to be inserted directly into the inside of the pipe as one might think; generally, it is required that the inserted pipe be level with the inside of the main pipeline.
