The construction unit is usually responsible for the welding group when the tower is brought into the site in sections. If the tower is a pressure vessel, the construction unit needs to have corresponding construction qualifications and comply with relevant laws and regulations. The manufacturing unit is usually responsible for manufacturing various parts of the tower and conducting inspection and testing during manufacturing to ensure that it meets the design requirements. .

The question of who is responsible for the workload of the on-site assembly and welding of tower segments depends on who the workload is signed to when the contract is signed. It is still very clear. Whoever’s contract includes this workload will do it. If the pressure vessel is on-site segmented assembly welding, it must be done by a qualified construction unit. This part of the work needs to be reported to the local supervisory inspection department for inspection and notification.

If it is from a manufacturer, it should be done by the manufacturer if it is made in sections and transported to the site for assembly due to transportation reasons. Generally, the equipment manufacturer performs welding assembly on-site. It depends on how the contract is signed.
