Can sodium bicarbonate be calcined using an industrial microwave oven? I’ve heard that recovering the gas produced is a bottleneck; if this method works, it would be possible to eliminate the need for boilers and the substantial investment required for calcination. Additionally, a heat pump along with a boiler could be used to recover waste heat, with all the power-driven equipment being operated by steam. . .
It requires a large amount of complex, detailed work, and cannot be easily rolled out. Looking forward to it. . .
The gap between theory and actual industrialization has a history of a hundred years at least, and a few years at the very least
