This post was last edited by mkp369 on January 3, 2015, at 08:28. It’s really difficult to write a work summary when one is just doing miscellaneous tasks in a soda ash production workshop. Over the course of a year, I worked in two workshops, always performing various odd jobs. It’s quite hard to describe the specifics, so I’ll just use a few phrases instead. Production was under high load (unrelated to me); equipment operation remained generally stable (also unrelated to me); there were virtually no safety incidents (this does involve me to some extent, as no work-related injuries were reported, hence it can be said that there were basically no safety incidents); and the overall environmental conditions improved somewhat (this also relates to me to some degree). 1. Production: This year, production has remained at a high level throughout the period; output reached a record high, and resource consumption also saw some improvement. This is attributable to the company’s technological advancements as well as the meticulous operations and strong sense of responsibility demonstrated by its employees. In addition, the annual system overhaul resulted in a successful startup and shutdown. 2. In terms of equipment operation: Planned maintenance, as well as daily inspections and upkeep of equipment, have been further strengthened to ensure the stable operation of equipment under high-load conditions. In terms of equipment lubrication, the joint efforts of the chemical and equipment departments have yielded good results. During the annual system overhaul, on the premise of successfully completing its own workshop tasks, it also assisted other workshops with the installation and commissioning of technical improvement projects. 3. Safety aspects: On the basis of the company’s further strengthening of safety management, the workshop formulated detailed safety management regulations and implemented them strictly, which has effectively promoted safety efforts within the workshop. 4. Environmental aspects: In terms of the on-site environment, new technologies were actively adopted. With strong support from the company, considerable improvements have been achieved. Particularly during the APEC summit, no adverse effects occurred at all; the advantages of these new technologies are quite evident. The adoption of new technologies has not only improved the working environment for employees, but also significantly reduced the company’s environmental pressure.
