In North America, the total production capacity is approximately 13.2 million tons. Among this, 1. Tronox in the United States, formerly known as FMC, has a production capacity of about 3.7 million tons； Solvay/Asahi Glass, with a production capacity of approximately 3 million tons ； Tata Chemicals, formerly General Chemicals, has a production capacity of approximately 2.6 million tons ； Ciner Group, (Turkish company), formerly OCI Chemicals, has a production capacity of approximately 2.3 million tons ； Searles Mineral, with a production capacity of approximately 1.3 million tons; 2. Mexico’s Industria del Alcali, with a production capacity of around 300,000 tons

In South America, there is only one soda ash plant in Argentina, with a production capacity of 250,000 tons.
On the Indian subcontinent, the total production capacity is 3.6 million tons. Specifically: 1. In India: Nirma – 1.15 million tons; Tata – 900,000 tons; GHCL – 850,000 tons; Tuticorin – 100,000 tons; DCW – 100,000 tons. 2. In Pakistan: ICI – 350,000 tons; Olympia – 150,000 tons
